SHARON SHUSTER ANHORN, whose studio, designata LLC, is located in Loveland, CO, works in many medias .  Sharon graduated with a BA in Fine Art from the University of Denver in 1964 with graduate work in Education at UCLA.

Sharon started working with metal 25 years ago. Her enthusiasm for combining materials has produced quite a mixed bag of works: copper, aluminum, stained and etched glass, wood, textiles, paint, found objects and more.

She is known for her  hand embossed (repousse’) metal ceilings, large copper (or “aged” aluminum) repousse’ wall murals, and friezes.  Sharon has also designed stained glass for over 40 years and often combines the metal repousse’ with the stained glass. Anhorn also creates unique metal embossed frames for her paintings making the frame very much a part of the art .

Her works have been featured on HGTV "Modern Masters", Home and Garden Magazine, the Denver Post, Colorado Homes and Lifestyles, Luxe Magazine, and Colorado Expressions among others. In past years she has shown in galleries in Santa Fe, Laguna Beach, Denver, Vail, Loveland, Beaver Creek and Edwards Colorado.  Her work can presently be viewed by appointment only at her studio in Loveland. Sharon has taught workshops in various medias here in the U.S. and Canada.

Among numerous commissions,  she has completed major public works  for the
University of Denver campus.
