Brenda Rundback (production manager, lighting director), began in the production industry in 1987 when she started working with David Priest. Having an education in office management and an interest in the creative side, production has provided a career using both. Plus having the opportunities to learn about a slew of topics!

She and David formed Play Films in 1993 with an initial focus on independent feature films. Over the years, they’ve been principals on productions ranging from short films to documentaries to corporate messaging of all kinds. Brenda enjoys the logistical details and the occasions when she can paint a scene with light and shadows. Common sense, resourcefulness and being observant are among the necessary tools of production Brenda learned growing up on the family ranch.

Some of the national and international, network prime-time broadcast credits for David and Brenda at Shadow Play Films, while working with Grizzly Adams Productions, include: 52 one-hour episodes of Encounters with the Unexplained, along with 25 one and two-hour specials such as: Breaking the DaVinci Code; Portrait of Courage; Heroes Among Us, Miracles Around Us. Plus 32 additional broadcast shows with other producers including the documentary Change the Heart, Change the World.
